Mock College Interview

 

Each year, in late February, the Counseling Department sponsors a Mock College

Interview Program, which is designed to provide interested juniors the opportunity to

practice their interview skills with volunteers from the Manhasset community. These

volunteers are professionals who have experience interviewing students or prospective

employees and they are willing to help students identify their strengths and or

weaknesses as interviewers.

 

The program is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes in length and begins with a

preliminary meeting with the counselors in the MS library. Following this meeting, each

student will have the opportunity to have two one-on-one interviews. At the conclusion

of each interview, students will be provided with immediate feedback.

 

Interested students must register for this program and registration takes place in early

February. As space is limited, it is highly recommended that you sign up as soon as

registration is announced.
