Theatre Education Pathway

Beyond our extra-curricular program, our robust curricular theatre program offers students a rich and supportive journey from early exploration to advanced performance. 

  • In 7th Grade Theatre, students build a foundation in performance and storytelling while developing essential presentation and communication skills. New for 2025-2026, this course is open to 7th and 8th grade students.

  • Theatre in Action, our 9th grade course, fulfills the NYS arts graduation requirement and provides a deeper dive into acting, technical theatre, ensemble collaboration, and public speaking—perfect for students who want to grow as performers and confident presenters.

  • Students looking to take their craft even further can enroll in Repertory Company (RepCo) 1, 2, and 3, a sequence of advanced courses focused on intensive rehearsal processes, character development, directing, playwriting, and full-scale performance production.
