2024 National Language Exam Registration
Secondary school students are recognized for their performance in the 2024 National Language Exams in Italian, French, and Spanish. Each year, our students join thousands across the nation and the world in taking these voluntary exams. The exams measure a students’ interpretive communication and achievement. They allow teachers to gain feedback about instruction and curriculum while promoting language-learning in general.
The National French Contest/Le Grand Concours is an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational backgrounds for prizes.
2024 National French Contest Winners
The National Spanish Examinations are online, standardized assessment tools for Grades 6 -12, given voluntarily by over 3800 teachers throughout the United States to measure proficiency and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language. Sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese, the exam is administered to all MBHS Spanish students each year in early spring.
2024 National Spanish Exam Winners
The NIE is the official national language contest for middle and high school students of the American Association of Teachers of Italian. It is a web-based proficiency and performance assessment that measures written and aural interpretation skills in alignment with the ACTFL Performance Descriptors and the 2012 ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.The outstanding performance of these Italian learners in our national competition brings honor to their school, their district, and their Italian program. The AATI values the tremendous work highly and their dedicated teachers.
